Gerry Ranglas has been active in the San Diego multi-family market for over 51 years. He has been investing in properties since 1973 through syndication of his own funds and the private capital from a loyal base of investors. Mr. Ranglas formed R&V Management in 1979 with his then partner, Laki Vassiliadis, to handle the management of their investment properties. Today Mr. Ranglas is the CEO and Chairman of R&V Management, and has over 17,000 multifamily units under his stewardship, primarily in San Diego County. Mr. Ranglas has personally overseen all acquisitions in R&V’s current portfolio. He also serves as the General Partner of over 200 entities controlled by the R&V principals. These investments are currently valued in excess of $7 billion.

In addition to the acquisition of the existing multi-family properties, Mr. Ranglas is also heavily involved in the development of multi-family properties in San Diego and Southern California, including over 6,500 units that are planned, under construction, or completed. Mr. Ranglas is also involved in investor relations and raising capital for each syndicated partnership. Mr. Ranglas is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Real Estate and Finance and is currently a Licensed California Real Estate Broker.

Scott J. Dale joined R&V Management in 1985 and has since then assisted the company in the growth of its management portfolio, helping it to become the largest local‐based asset management company in San Diego. Today, as President, Mr. Dale oversees all of the day‐to‐day operations of over 17,000 residential units. He is also involved in the due diligence process for acquisitions and dispositions, manages all major renovations and capital improvements throughout the portfolio, and reviews budgets, financial statements, and financial matters. With the overall responsibility for the performance of the portfolio, Mr. Dale works closely with the asset managers and the corporate office regarding the company’s objectives. Mr. Dale has been in the real estate and property management industry for over 39 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration in 1982 at San Diego State University and is a California Real Estate Broker as well as a Certified Property Manager (CPM^®).

Dennis R. Szuberla, a licensed California Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Managerial Accountant, joined the R&V team in 2012, and helps manage treasury matters, debt and equity markets, financial statements, transactional structuring, income and property tax compliance, and planning matters for R&V Management and their affiliated entities.

Prior to working at R&V, Mr. Szuberla spent over 5 years as a tax consultant for a real estate tax consulting firm which was later acquired by Ernst and Young, LLP. The firm specialized in real estate transactions for syndicators and entrepreneurial real estate businesses for local, regional, and national real estate organizations. Mr. Szuberla has over 17 years of experience in real estate accounting, structuring transactions, and resulting income tax and financial implications.

Mr. Szuberla also oversees the drafting of the partnership agreements, review of debt and loan agreements with corporate counsel, and is heavily involved with all fundraising, equity and debt activities at R&V. Mr. Szuberla attended California State University San Marcos where he earned his degree in accounting and attended Villanova University School of Law where he earned a Master of Laws in Taxation (MST). Mr. Szuberla is a California Real Estate Broker, California Insurance Producer and Broker, and a Certified Property Manager (CPM^®).
